    Conor Geekie has signed an entry-level contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
    Arizona dealt the 27th, 34th, and 45th overall picks to San Jose so that they could take Geekie at 11th overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Geekie isn’t expected to play in the NHL next season, but he should develop into a top-six forward. “We are very pleased to sign Conor to an entry-level contract,” said Coyotes GM Bill Armstrong. “He is a big, skilled, two-way center with good vision and a strong hockey IQ. We look forward to watching his development.”

    Lawson Crouse has filed for salary arbitration.
    Crouse just completed a three-year, $4.6 million contract. He produced career-highs in 2021-22 with 20 goals and 34 points in 65 games. Crouse was also credited with 131 shots and 181 hits, while averaging 17:26 of ice time per match.

    Lukas Klok has signed a one-year, entry-level contract with Arizona.
    Klok had five goals and 31 points in 44 games for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk of the KHL during the 2021-22 season. He also had four points in four playoff matches. The 27-year-old blueliner played for Czechia at the Winter Olympics and he had three points over four contests.

    Troy Stecher has signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
    “We are pleased to have Troy join the Coyotes,” said Coyotes GM Bill Armstrong. “Troy is an experienced defenseman who competes hard every night. He will be a solid addition to our blue line.” In 29 games with Detroit and Los Angeles last season, Stecher had one goal, two assists, 50 shots, 38 blocks and 33 hits.

    Jean-Sebastien Dea has signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
    Dea had 26 goals and 52 points in 70 games for the Laval Rocket of the AHL during the 2021-22 season. He has seven points in 33 career NHL contests.

    The Arizona Coyotes have signed defenseman Josh Brown to a two-year contract.
    Brown will earn $1.25 million in 2022-23 and $1.3 million the following year. He played 52 games in the NHL last season, the first 46 with Ottawa before being dealt to Boston at the trade deadline for Zach Senyshyn and a fifth-round pick in last week’s Entry Draft. Brown is a stay at home defenseman who had six helpers all season.

    The Arizona Coyotes have signed goaltender Jon Gillies to a one-year/two-way contract.
    Gillies saw action with the Devils and St. Louis last season as he was 3-10-2 with a 3.70 GAA and a .887 save percentage. The goaltending situation is up in the air in Arizona after Karel Vejmelka so he has a chance to stick after training camp as he has to battle Harri Sateri for the role as the backup.

    Bokondji Imama has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
    Imama had a goal in four games with the Arizona Coyotes. He also had 12 points and 178 penalty minutes in 54 AHL contests.

  • Defense #2
    Arizona has acquired Patrik Nemeth, a 2025 second-round draft pick and a conditional 2026 second-round draft pick from the New York Rangers in exchange for Ty Emberson.
    Nemeth played in 63 games with the Rangers in 2021-22. He supplied two goals, seven points, 52 shots, 102 blocks and 115 hits.

    Nick Bjugstad has signed a one-year, $900,000 contract with the Arizona Coyotes.
    Bjugstad had seven goals and 13 points in 57 contests with Minnesota in 2021-22. He also played on a one-year, $900,000 contract when he was with the Wild last season.
