    Jiri Kulich will represent Czechia at the 2022 World Junior Championship in Edmonton this month.
    Buffalo selected Kulich with the No. 28 pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. He was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract just over a week later in mid-July during a superb performance during development camp. Kulich is expected to be a key member of the Czechia team at the tournament.

    Olivier Nadeau is expected to miss the next 4-6 months recovering from shoulder surgery.
    Even on the short side of the recovery timetable, here, Nadeau will be sidelined beyond the start of the regular season. A fourth-round selection in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, the 19-year-old Nadeau was signed to an entry-level contract back in May. We’ll pass along further updates as to his recovery as they become available.

    Arttu Ruotsalainen has signed with EHC Kloten of the Swiss League.
    Ruotsalainen had two goals and four points in 18 games with Buffalo last season. He also scored 18 goals and 51 points in 57 AHL contests. Ruotsalainen was a restricted free agent who received a qualifying offer from the Buffalo Sabres, so they’ve retained his NHL rights should he choose to return to North America later.

    Buffalo has signed Brett Murray to a one-year, $750,000 contract.
    Murray had two goals and six points in 19 games with Buffalo in 2021-22. He also provided 15 goals and 32 points in 52 AHL contests with the Rochester Americans.

    Jiri Kulich has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
    “I think he’s just edged (forward JJ) Peterka out in the amount of oohs and ahs he’s created in the stands with his scoring ability,” said Rochester assistant coach Micheal Peca, who has been working with the Sabres prospects during development camp. Kulich was chosen with the 28th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft by Buffalo.

    Matthew Savoie has inked a three-year, entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
    Savoie was taken with the No. 9 pick in the 2022 NHL Draft by the Sabres. He has not been practicing during Buffalo’s development camp because of an injury he suffered last month during the WHL playoffs. He expects to be cleared in the coming weeks.

    Noah Ostlund has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Buffalo.
    “I think Noah, his ability to move around the ice and his strength on the puck is incredible.” said Rochester assistant coach Michael Peca, who has been on the ice with Ostund during Buffalo’s development camp. The Sabres chose him with the 16th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.

    Lawrence Pilut has signed a one-year, two-way contract with Buffalo.
    Pilut spent the past two seasons with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL, while producing 39 points in 97 games. Prior to that, he split time with the Sabres and the team’s AHL affiliate for two straight years. Pilut has one goal and five assists in 46 career NHL appearances.

    Jeremy Davies has signed a one-year contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
    Davies had two assists, five shots and five hits in six appearances with Nashville last season. He also had six goals and 31 points in 54 AHL matches with Milwaukee.

    Chase Priskie has signed a one-year contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
    Priskie had no points in four games with Florida in 2021-22. He also had eight goals and 31 points in 54 AHL contests.
