Jordan Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Saturday, leading the Cardinals to a 3-0 victory over the White Sox.
Walker clobbered a ninth-inning round-tripper off southpaw reliever Tanner Banks to give the Cardinals a commanding three-run advantage. The 21-year-old rookie sensation has homered twice in his last four contests and appears to be building some serious momentum to carry over into the second half of the year. He’s batting a solid .287/.348/.464 with 20 runs scored, eight homers, 25 RBI and three stolen bases across 198 plate appearances over 50 games in the big leagues.
