    Ryan Donato has signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Seattle Kraken.
    Donato had 16 goals and 31 points in 74 contests last season. Those numbers aren’t bad, especially when you consider that he averaged just 13:48 minutes. It’ll be interesting to see if he can earn a bigger role next season.

    Michal Kempny has inked a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Seattle Kraken.
    Kempny had a goal and two points in 15 games with Washington last season. He also had seven assists in 24 AHL contests.

    Morgan Geekie has signed a one-year, $1.4 million contract with the Seattle Kraken.
    Geekie filed for salary arbitration, but the two sides have reached an agreement before a hearing was necessary. He had seven goals and 22 points in 73 contests last season.

    The Seattle Kraken have acquired Oliver Bjorkstrand from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a 2023 third-round pick and 2023 fourth-round selection.
    Bjorkstrand comes with a $5.4 million cap hit through 2025-26 and the Blue Jackets needed to free up space after re-signing Patrik Laine. Bjorkstrand had 28 goals and 57 points in 80 contests last season. He’s a great two-way forward who will play big minutes in Seattle.

    The Seattle Kraken have signed Carsen Twarynski to a one-year, two-way contract.
    Twarynski had five goals and 18 points in 71 AHL contests in 2021-22. He’s recorded a goal in 22 career NHL games.

    Kole Lind has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Seattle Kraken.
    Lind had two goals and eight points in 23 contests with the Kraken last season. He also scored 17 goals and 35 points in 46 AHL games.

    Morgan Geekie has filed for salary arbitration.
    Geekie is coming off a one-year, $750,000 contract. He had seven goals, 22 points, 97 shots and 55 hits in 73 games during the 2021-22 campaign.

    John Hayden has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Seattle Kraken.
    Hayden can earn $325,000 in the AHL or $750,000 at the NHL level. He had four points and 84 penalty minutes in 55 games with Buffalo last season.

    Cameron Hughes has signed a two-year/two-way contract with the Seattle Kraken.
    Hughes will get an AAV of $762,500 when in the NHL. He had 14 goals and 31 assists with Providence of the AHL last season in 59 games. Hughes has played twice in the NHL with Boston, with nary a point.

    The Seattle Kraken have signed center Ryan Winterton to a three-year/entry level contract.
    Winterton was selected in the third round (67th overall) in 2021 and had 20 goals and 26 assists in 37 games and then had eight goals and 19 points in 18 games as his Hamilton Bulldogs went to the Memorial Cup.
