  • FA Wide Receiver #10
Reiss noted that Hopkins isn’t in a rush to sign with a team, so we may not be getting a conclusion to this saga any time soon. New England and Tennessee appear to be the clear front-runners in the Hopkins sweepstakes. Both teams are in need of a true WR1, though the Titans could already have that on their roster if Treylon Burks takes the next step in his development. Hopkins’ landing spot will play a major role in his fantasy outlook, but it’s safe to pencil him in for a large target share no matter where he winds up.
  • CIN Punter #10
Huber, who joined the Bengals in 2009, was among the league’s most reliable punters over his lengthy tenure in Cincinnati. The Bengals released Huber, 37, last December after consistent struggles over the season’s first few months. Drue Chrisman and Brad Robbins will compete for the Bengals’ punting job this summer.
  • FA Center #73
The former Commanders center announced his retirement via Instagram. He cited his lengthy injury history as one of the reasons he is moving on from football. Over the past two years, Roullier has appeared in just 10 games. A sixth-round pick in 2017, Roullier entered the league as an unheralded prospect. It didn’t take long for him to prove the draft evaluators wrong. He started seven games as a rookie and opened his second season as Washington’s starter at center. Roullier ultimately made 63 starts over his six-year career.

It’s not surprising after the finer points of Parker’s supposed “three-year, $33 million” extension came to light. Essentially, Parker is playing for incentives, with a low guaranteed base. It won’t get in the way of throwing big money at Hopkins. Although Nuk appears content to wait until closer to camp to choose a new home, New England still seems to be one of his most likely destinations.
  • FA Defensive Back #34
Rodgers was handed an indefinite suspension for betting on NFL games and was let go shortly after the penalty was handed down. The former sixth-round pick will miss at least the 2023 season but could be forced to sit out longer, given his violation of league rules. His teammate, Rashod Berry, was also let go by the team after he received the same indefinite suspension as Rodgers. Rodgers could eventually catch on with a team once reinstated, while Berry hasn’t appeared in a regular season game since 2021.
  • FA Quarterback #15
The tragedy occurred in Florida, where it appears Mallett died in a beach accident. Out of the league since 2017, Mallett had been coaching high school football in his home state of Arkansas. Our thoughts are with Mallett’s friends and family.
  • FA Wide Receiver #10
Person notes the team’s needs at cornerback and EDGE as potentially more dire than pursuing free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, but added that the team can be expected to monitor all free agents that could be a potential fit for as long as general manager Scott Fitterer is in charge of personnel. The biggest pushback to that claim is the general lack of big name targets currently on the market at both cornerback and EDGE, which doesn’t negate the truth of the matter but could provide a glimpse of hope for Panthers fans. As things currently stand, Hopkins has two offers on the table from New England and Tennessee but appears set on taking his time with free agency. More offers could be on the horizon in the coming weeks leading up to training camp.
  • FA Wide Receiver #10
Deshaun Watson, who played with Hopkins in Houston, has reportedly pushed for the Browns to acquire his former mate. Breer said former Jets WR Elijah Moore “had a really strong spring and he contributed to the comfort level that Cleveland had with its receiver room, which is a reason why the team hasn’t dipped its toe into the DeAndre Hopkins sweepstakes quite yet (and probably won’t, barring some sort of material change).” Moore’s emergence as a top receiving option alongside Amari Cooper is notable for fantasy managers trying to figure out how targets might be distributed in what should be a more pass-first Cleveland offense in 2023.
  • FA Tight End #89
Lewis, who turned 39 last month, expects to sign closer to the preseason. Reuniting with QB Aaron Rodgers and ex-Packers OC Nathaniel Hackett in New York remains the top landing spot after Lewis started all 17 games for Green Bay last year. The Raiders have also been linked to the veteran tight end this offseason.
  • FA Running Back #27
“I’m just being patient. I’ve had some things come up. But right now, I’m enjoying my time. Training and just staying ready.” The Commanders and ex-Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy have been linked to Hunt, who hasn’t had any free agent visits this offseason. Interest in Hunt and unsigned RB Ezekiel Elliott should heat up closer to the preseason.
