    Laurent Brossoit’s availability for the start of training camp and the regular season is unclear following offseason hip surgery.
    Robin Lehner, who was also sidelined at the end of the 2021-22 campaign following shoulder surgery, is currently in the same boat with an uncertain timetable. Vegas should have a better understanding of their goaltending situation when training camp begins. Logan Thompson could see his role increase for the beginning of the 2022-23 season.

    Brayden Pachal has signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Vegas Golden Knights.
    Pachal had no points in two games with Vegas last season. At the AHL level, he recorded 11 points and 90 penalty minutes in 65 contests.

  • VGK Right Wing #55
    Keegan Kolesar has filed for salary arbitration.
    Kolesar just completed a two-year, $1.45 million contract. He accounted for seven goals, 24 points, 68 penalty minutes, 94 shots and 246 hits in 77 games last season.

    Sakari Manninen has agreed to a one-year, $750,000 deal with the Vegas Golden Knights.
    Manninen has played the past three seasons for Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the KHL. He had 19 goals and 32 points in 38 matches last year. Manninen also played for Finland at the Winter Olympics and World Championship where he was a point-per-game player at both tournaments.

    Spencer Foo has signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the Vegas Golden Knights.
    Foot has played for the Kunlun Red Star of the KHL for the past three seasons. He had 14 goals and 33 points in 48 matches last year. Foo also played for China at the Winter Olympics. Foo has two goals in four career NHL outings.

    Vegas GM Kelly McCrimmon said Thursday that the timeline for Robin Lehner to be ready for training camp “will be tight.”
    McCrimmon expects to have a better idea of Lehner’s timetable when the netminder rejoins the Golden Knights soon. He said that the team hasn’t been working with Lehner on a day-to-day basis this offseason. Lehner had shoulder surgery in early May.

    Nolan Patrick has not significant progress during his rehab this offseason, per Vegas GM Kelly McCrimmon.
    Patrick missed the final 15 games of the regular season due to an undisclosed ailment. He was limited to just 25 appearances in 2021-22 because of injuries. It is unclear if Patrick will be available for the start of the 2022-23 campaign.

  • VGK Defense #42
    Daniil Miromanov underwent offseason surgery and it’s unclear if he will be ready for training camp, according to Vegas GM Kelly McCrimmon.
    Miromanov played in 11 games with Vegas during the 2021-22 season. He posted one assist, 15 shots, six blocks and five hits.

    Reilly Smith didn’t think about going anywhere else despite being an unrestricted free agent
    Smith’s three-year deal with Vegas, which he reportedly verbally agreed to in late June, was confirmed Wednesday on the first day of free agency. “I feel like I’ve put my heart and soul into this organization,” he said on Thursday. “I’m very fortunate that they noticed that and they’re giving me the opportunity to come back here and chase the goal we started five years ago. ... There was no doubt in my mind that this is where I wanted to play. You know, pretty much finish out my career here.”

    Reilly Smith has signed a three-year deal worth $15 million with the Vegas Golden Knights.
    Smith and the Golden Knights reportedly had the three-year deal in place three weeks ago, but needed the Max Pacioretty deal in place to make the deal and stay cap compliant. He had 16 goals and 38 points in 56 games last season and will look to get to the 55-60 point mark next season if he can stay healthy.
